Account Guide

What is your return policy?

Due to the nature of our industry prices do fluctuate from time to time and therefor all sales are final. To be considered for any type of exchange, you must contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order, and your requests will be evaluated on a case by case basis.

Do you save my credit card information?

For your security, we do not store credit card information on your account.

Selling Cards

How can I ship my cards to you safely?

Make sure you include your name and order number. Sort the singles in the EXACT order that they appear on your invoice when you were approved and emailed. All sleeves, binders or other packaging needs to be removed from the individual cards and placed in a hard-shell plastic case, fatpack box or similar container meant to hold cards.

In transit make sure that they will not shift or slide on their way to us. We always suggest purchasing insurance and a tracking number for your shipment.

Please note that West Coast Sports Cards cannot be held responsible for damage or loss on shipments sent to us.

Do you contact me letting me know the grade of the cards I sold to you?

In order to get payment out to you as soon as possible we do not usually contact you letting you know the grade. If you would like to be contacted before we finalize the order and send any payment; please let us know in the comments and you can review the grades and request cards back. Once the grading is finalized and payment is sent and due to the live inventory we cannot reverse any part of the sale.

How do I know if you received my package?

When we receive a package, you will be notified by email with a message stating “received”. It is now in our queue and is being verified. Typically grading turnaround is 1-3 days, but depending on the number of orders we get in on a daily basis and the size of your order it could be as long as 5 business days.

My order is complete. When will I be paid?

Depending on the payment option you chose will depend on the turnaround for payments.

Store credit will be within 24 hours of your order graded and finalized. Paypal will be next available business day.

Checks will be put in the mail and shipped to you, they are sent via USPS and generally take 3-7 days depending on your distance from Washington State. Note any weather issues could delay this.

Do you buy non-English language cards, complete sets, sealed product or other things that I didn’t see on your buylist?

We are willing to look at anything that you have questions about, please contact us at Michael@wcscdist.com and we will be able to get back to you as soon as possible. Keep in mind due to Wizards of the Coast trade agreements we can not purchase any sealed products until they have been out of print for 2 years.

Do you negotiate on pricing or grading?

Unfortunately, we’re not able to negotiate on grades or pricing.

Does store credit expire or are there any restriction on using store credit?

Store credit does not expire and can be used to purchase anything available on the site. Store credit cannot be cashed out and is not transferable.

Is there a max number of cards that I can sell at one time?

 Currently the limit is set at 150 cards. This allows us to get through orders in a timely manner, you are allowed to put in multiple orders for larger orders.

Cards FAQ

What do your grading definitions mean?

Near Mint (NM) : Near Mint cards have little to no damage. Some minor corner whitening or edging may be allowed if only visible under very close inspection.

Slight Play (SP): Slight Play cards will show minor wear from being played and shuffled. They could have flecks on the border, light scratches or small indents.

Moderate Play (MP): Moderate Played cards show wear from being shuffled and played. Can include whitening around most of the edges, shuffle creasing, large indents and small bends. Moderate Play cards should still be legal in tournament play in a sleeve.

Heavy Play (HP): Heavy Played cards show extensive damage and wear. Can include heavy surface scratching, large creases and dirt built up. Some Heavy Play cards may not be tournament legal.

Are the cards you list on the website in stock?

Our system is a “live” inventory so if you see it on the website we should have it in stock! Keep in mind that although it doesn’t happen often, an inventory mistake may occur from time to time resulting in something being for sale that is actually out of stock. If this occurs, we will make sure to contact you with a possible solution and/or more information.

How does the Wish List work?

You can add cards that we currently have out of stock and be notified when we get them back in stock. Be aware that anyone who has also put that card on their wish list will be notified and that it is a first come first serve basis.

Placing an Order FAQ

Can I change my order before it ships?

We cannot modify orders once they have been placed. Please contact us and we can do our best to cancel the order before it ships and you can place a new one with the necessary changes.

Can I see a scan of a Card?

For higher end cards, we can definitely send you a scan. Please place the order for the cards that you are interested in and include a note in the comments that you would like to see a scan of the cards. We’ll email you the scans of the cards as soon as possible and then you can decide depending on the scans you receive. Please note that we do this only for higher end cards.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept PayPal, most credit cards and if you have store credit you can use that to purchase online as well! If you want to use cash, you can always choose “pickup in store” as an option if you live in Washington State and pay when you come to pick up your order.

Will I have to pay sales tax on my order?

Within the United States, Washington sales tax (9.5%) is only charged on orders shipped within the state of Washington.

What do the different Order Statuses mean?

-Awaiting Payment

This option will show up if you chose “Pay in Store” because you have not paid for your purchase this will be emailed to you.

-Payment Received

            We have received whatever form of payment you have chosen and we are preparing to put your order together to either ship out or for you to Pick up in Store.

-Your order has shipped

            We have shipped out your order to the address provided and it is on its way. If you have any questions about our shipping method or would like to get a hold of your tracking number feel free to contact us.

Can you label my package in a particular way?
Please make any request that you would like on your label or package in the customer comments section of your order and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Do you have any credit card verification policies?

We are cautious about a shipping any large first time orders. We will a do what we can in verifying the billing address and card holders name and depending on the circumstance may need to ship to the credit card billing address. Make sure to enter the correct billing information when placing an order, any mismatch in the addresses will delay the shipment of the process sometimes.

 

 

Pre-Orders

 

When will my preorder ship?

All preorders are set to ship out within one business day of release date.

 

 

Can I add items to a preorder?

Once a preorder is placed, there is no way to guarantee add items to it. You can however make an additional order and we can do our best to combine shipping on both orders. Remember when you place your second email please let us know that you would like both orders shipped out and together.

 

Can you ship sealed product internationally?

Due to Wizards of the Coast policy, we can not ship out ANY sealed Magic product internationally.

Can you ship sealed product internationally?

You can cancel an preorder through the sunday prior to the release date by contacting Michael@wcscdist.com with your cancellation request. 

Will you ship out non-preorder items made with a preorder?

All items made in a preorder will be held untell the release date. To recieve non-preorder items earlier, please place seperate orders.

When will I be charged for preorder items?

 

All charges will be made as soon as the order is placed.

Shipping Questions

When will my cards arrive?

Shipping times can vary depending on location and which option you chose for you order. We currently offer the following:

Will my shipment have tracking?

All orders shipped in the United States will have a tracking number available upon request.

When will my order ship?

We do our best to get orders out as fast as possible, all orders will be shipped out within 48 hours but usually next day assuming the order is not excessive and needs extra time and/or care in preparing.

How are cards shipped?

Orders less than 5 cards will usually be shipped in a top loader, while most other cards will be shipped in plastic 2 piece boxes inside of a bubble mailer. Orders with larger products or larger than average single orders may be shipped in an appropriate container rather than bubble mailers.

Will I need to sign for my package?

 

For security purposes all domestic orders over $299 will ship with Signature Confirmation service and must be signed for on delivery.
